This is a referral service
SuffolkVASeptic.com connects homeowners who have septic systems in Suffolk, Virginia with independent local septic contractors. We don't pump, inspect, repair, replace or install septic tanks, drain fields or any other part of a septic system, and we don't employ the contractors we refer.
How we're paid
Contractors pay us to receive referrals or to advertise on this site. Homeowners never pay us anything.
One contractor per request
Each request goes to one contractor who works in your area, not to a list of companies.
Contractors are responsible for their work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship and warranties. Any agreement is between you and the contractor. This site does not check licenses. We encourage you to look up any contractor's Virginia license on DPOR before hiring.
Calls may be recorded
Calls to our phone number may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
Affiliations and sources
This site is named for the City of Suffolk, Virginia, and is not affiliated with the City of Suffolk, the Virginia Department of Health, the Western Tidewater Health District, DPOR, any septic hauler, or any equipment maker. Septic rules on this site are summarized from the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Administrative Code, VDH, and City of Suffolk pages, as each page cites them. Cost figures come from the cost guides each page names, as of the dates stated. All of it is general information, not legal or engineering advice. The Suffolk Health Department, the city, a soil evaluator's design and the contractor's written quote are what count.
